Mountain flying check out (MOU)
This course, a Swiss peculiarity, qualifies pilots for landing on the official high mountain-landing areas during private or, if holder of a CPL(H) license, commercial flights. The course will give you very special emotions and a splendid view on the Swiss Alps. The requirements for beginning the course are, a flight experience of minimum of 100 hours. The training consists in a minimum of 200 landings in the high mountains, of which 50 landings up to an altitude of 2000 meters above sea level and 150 landings on the official high mountain landing areas. The landings are to be made on 20 different areas of which 10 above an altitude of 2700 meters sea level. The training ends with a check flight together with an examiner.
